Over 60 players enjoyed perfect conditions in the last game at Highlands on Thursday April 17. Scoring was up reflecting the fantastic course conditions and obviously some quality play. In C Grade the best scores of the day were recorded with Jill Harwood scoring 42 points and a well-deserved win. Runner Up was John Durbin with a well compiled 41 points. Both players will enjoy a new handicap for their next game. In B Grade it was Tony Rolfe with a fine 38 points.…

Visit to Worrigee

On Wednesday we had a great visit to Worrigee. The day started with a slight threat of passing showers, but none eventuated and it was a great day for golf; neither too hot nor too chilly. We had a very good turn up from the Highlands with 21 players making the trip to Nowra. The Highlanders made a good showing but could not manage a win over the home team. We will exact our revenge later next year when they visit us for the reciprocal challenge.
