ELIGIBILITY: | All entrants must hold a current golf link handicap and be a financial member of the NSWVGA and play the first three days in the “Week of Golf” (See FEES on the entry form) to be eligible to win the NSWVGA Shield. Players will be allowed to win one major prize per day. | |
THE GOLF: | The NSWVGA Shield is to be decided by the three round aggregate stableford points. Tee times will be available at Registration Day, Sunday 10th November 2024 at Bowral Golf Club. If you cannot attend registration, please request the tee time of your first game via SMS or email. Please report to the starter at least 20 minutes prior to hit off time. There will be Nearest the Pin prizes each day for each division and a ball run down covering 30% of the field. The tournament is limited to 120 players. Entries close 1st October 2024 or when all positions are filled. Later entrants will be placed on a wait list. | |
HIRE CARTS: | Hire carts will be booked by the committee and allocated in order of receipt of entries. As carts are limited, enter early to avoid disappointment. DO NOT BOOK YOUR OWN CART DIRECTLY FROM COURSES. | |
COMPETITIONS: | All Single events will be played in Divisions with approximately equal numbers and players will remain in their Division which will be determined by their GA handicap as at 6.00pm on Saturday 9th November 2024. The number of divisions will depend on the number of entrants but we anticipate that these will be as below: | |
HANDICAPS: | Men: 3 Divisions; Ladies: 2 Divisions Handicap limits: Men (45) Ladies (45) | |
PRESENTATIONS:: | Presentations to major prize winners will be held at Mittagong RSL Club on Thursday 14th November.
Daily prizes, NTP prizes and the ball run down will be presented to players when they collect their cards for each days play. | |
CONDITIONS: | All persons participating in the SHVGA Week of Golf tournament or associated functions do so at their own risk. Owners of private carts must have public liability insurance for those vehicles and be able to produce proof if required. Some clubs have a daily fee for use of private carts and this must be paid to the pro-shop | |
ACCEPTANCES: | The Match Committee reserves the right to refuse entry to the tournament and no correspondence will be entered into. The Match Committee, whose decision shall be final, will adjudicate all disputes and complaints. | |
CANCELLATIONS: | Refunds will be made at the discretion of the Committee. In the case of no play being possible due to weather conditions, refunds will be provided, minus $5.00 to cover expenses. | |
